Ikebana Vases

Ikebana (Ick-ee-bahna) is the Japanese art of arranging flowers beautifully.  In using your Ikebana vase, the key consideration is to use only a few stems to highlight the flowers’ beauty.  Fill the vase with water. Standard size holds 8-12 ounces. Use three stems of different heights and place in the vase at slightly different angles. Leave space between the stems and keep some of the leaves. Flowers last longer in your Ikebana vases because the water is drawn directly into the pierced stem.

Ikebana Vases come with a description card with the above information.

Example of a three stem arrangement. Often there are several flowers on one stem.  Even two single flowers and a bit of a green from any shrub available  looks balanced and beautiful.
