In addition to the surface decoration on the outside of my casseroles, I carve my designs on the inside of the lid and in the bottom of the dish. Like all of my baking pieces, the fired glazes produce a surface similar to non stick cookware. They clean like a dream. And nothing is more beautiful to serve in. Bon Appetit!
